Purple mastery points are used to unlock mount abilities in Guild Wars 2 Path of Fire. Since the mounts – Raptor, Springer, Jackal, Skimmer are so important for puzzles and getting around, these points are essential. You can find lots of them scattered around the map, locked behind various challenges.
You can get a raptor, springer and the turtle by playing through end of dragons. However, you will not be able to level up the mount masteries for the raptor or springer without playing path of fire. Thank you very much! You've been super helpful. Have a great day!

Gwenlian.4781. I am running into an odd one. I was training my raptor canyon jumping and got it to 13% and it's stuck at that percentage. (I do have the 3 mastery points already waiting) I tried all kinds of jumps, over several canyons on different maps, but no luck. I have no idea what I did differently to even get it up to 13%.

To get this Mastery Insight, you'll need the Jackal mount unlocked with the Shifting Sands ability. Start from the Sand Jackal Run Waypoint, then move east towards the Jackal Portal. Enter it with your Jackal to be teleported to the Djinn Enclave. Next, following the path in the image above, ascend the spiral staircase in the center of the You need to select that mastery track in your hero panel, under the mastery tab, so that the XP you earn in PoF goes toward this track, and when the XP is full you need to spend 4 mastery points to unlock it. I jumped from around Ligacus Aquilo Waypoint into the area far below, and so long as I held a direction button I could glide, seemingly forever.
you need to use the Springer i think its called (that rabbit mount) when he has mastery 3 (high vault) and start looking for rocks to jump on until you get up. You do need to use the Springer mount, but you don't have to have it to T3, if you come north around through the gate and continue along the mesa there you will find some shorter ledges
